The administrative center is the village of Borisovo .
The parish was formed during the reform of 1861 ; she united 5 settlements.
In the 1880s , the volost was abolished, and its territory entered the Chemlyzh volost .
Today, the entire territory of the former Borisov Volost is included in the Sevsky District of the Bryansk Region .
