Petri Lindroos ( Finnish. Petri Lindroos , born January 10, 1980 in Espoo , Finland ) is the main vocalist and rhythm and solo guitarist of the Finnish folk / viking metal band Ensiferum . Prior to that, he also founded the Norther group and until 2009 he was its frontman.

Biography
Petri started playing guitar at age 14. In 1996, he, together with drummer Toni Hallio, founded the melodic death metal band Norther . In 2004, he was accepted into Ensiferum as the main vocalist and guitarist, but continued to participate in Norther until March 3, 2009. On March 9, 2009, Petri announced on his official Norther website that he was leaving the group - he said, to concentrate more on working with Ensiferum. In a later interview, Petrie said that he did not want to leave Norther at all - the other members of the group forced him to leave. [one]
