Saparicum - a reservoir for receiving fecal masses in people who, for various reasons, temporarily or permanently, cannot have a normal defecation act. It is a container made of an odorless film, provided with a sticky flange for mounting on the patient’s body, a ring of special hydroactive and wound healing material, ensuring tightness and odor resistance at the site of attachment to the body and comfortable conditions for the skin around the stoma . The tank is equipped with a locking device that allows you to remove the contents and rinse the water receiver.
There are two types of catheters: one-component (ostomy bag with built-in adhesive plate) and two-component (set consisting of detachable adhesive plate and ostomy bags). They are also divided into open (which can be emptied from the excreted) and closed (which are used only once and disposed of immediately after use).
The choice of the feces depends on the type of stoma, its location, the appearance of fecal masses, the characteristics of the skin around the stoma, as well as on the preferences of the person.
