Bible Broadcasting Network

The Bible Broadcasting Network (abbreviated as BBN ) is a non-profit Christian-themed broadcasting network. It broadcasts in eight languages: English , Spanish , Portuguese , Chinese , Japanese , Korean , German and Russian .

History

In English, the network started on October 2, 1971 in Norfolk, Virginia , USA . A few years later, BBN Central Office was relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina , USA , where it is today. In Russian, BBN was aired on October 1, 2004. From this date, programs are broadcast daily and around the clock.

Goals and objectives

The purpose of BBN Bible Broadcasting is to preach and teach , which is based on the Bible , using Radio and the Internet as the most effective means of transmitting information. In addition to its direct Internet broadcasting functions, BBN also offers the possibility of free distance learning at the Bible Institute with subsequent certification at the end of the course. Training takes place in six languages, including Russian.
