North is an island of the Severnaya Zemlya archipelago. Administratively refers to the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory .

Location
The northernmost of the islands of Demyan Poor , which is why the name is located in the western part of the group. It is washed by the Kara Sea . Located at a distance of 12.3 kilometers northwest of the island of Komsomolets . 550 meters to the west lies the island of Kolobok , at a distance of a little more than a kilometer to the southeast, are the islands of Chervyak and Utenok , with which the island of North is connected by a sandbank .
Description
It has a slightly elongated shape with a length of about 700 meters. The rocky coast is gentle, southwest of the island a sandbank begins, leading through two small nameless islands to the islands of Chervyak and Utenok. In the west is a small lake .
