The currently valid flag was approved on February 21, 2006 [1] and entered into the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 2222.
Description
The flag of the city of Zarechny is a rectangular panel with a width to length ratio of 2: 3. In a field dissected with azure (blue, blue) and greens, the pillar is narrowed burdened with a lowered bar at the waist and surrounded by two extended cyclomeres in the left and right ligation with bezant over the right to the left and over the left to the right; all figures are golden. The flag of the city of Zarechny is a rectangular panel with a width-to-length ratio of 1: 1.5 of white color with green and golden decoration accessories. The colors of the flag symbolize purity, livability, landscaping and forest surroundings. In the center of the flag is an image with elements of the coat of arms of the city of Zarechny. The color scale of the flag echoes the color of the coat of arms of the Penza region, the coat of arms of the city of Zarechny and the sign of the Head of the city of Zarechny. [2]
The flag of the city of Zarechny is a symbol reflecting the continuity of the historical traditions of the city, its administrative and territorial status.
Symbolization Justification
The flag, developed on the basis of the coat of arms , the language of symbols and allegories reflects the historical, cultural, socio-economic, national and other local traditions.
The history of the emergence and development of the city of Zarechny is inextricably linked with the development of the nuclear industry in Russia. The main figure of the flag - two elongated cyclomores crosswise - symbolizes atomic orbits indicating the city-forming enterprise, the largest industrial enterprise of the Ministry of Atomic Industry of Russia - FSUE PO Start.
Narrowed, burdened with a lowered bar in a belt, a pillar, contour repeats the silhouette of the city Obelisk of Victory, which was used in the old emblem of the city. Thus, the continuity of symbolism is preserved.
Narrowed, burdened with a low bar in the belt, the pillar at the same time resembles a sword — a handle, an hilt, and a blade extending upwards.
The sword is a symbol of protection and justice, embodies courage, firmness of spirit, heroism, courage and valor of citizens, and also allegorically speaks about the role of the enterprise and the city itself in the defense of the country.
Yellow color ( gold ) - a symbol of strength, wealth, intelligence, justice, respect.
The dissection of the flag flag to blue and green colors allegorically shows the convenient geographical position of the city not far from the regional center - the city of Penza , on the East European (Russian) Plain, a favorable combination of natural conditions for human health - flat terrain, moderately hot summer, moderately cold winter , low water logging, relatively high forest cover.
Blue ( azure ) - a symbol of loyalty, impeccability, honor, virtue.
Green is a symbol of freedom, abundance, joy, and life.
