The village is located 5 km from the administrative center of the county of Miechow and 30 km from the administrative center of the province of Krakow [2] .

History
It was first mentioned in 1401 in a written document “Sąd ziemski krakowski, poświadcza sprzedaż wsi Parkoszowice przez Krystynę, żonę Jaśka z Tczycy, córkę Trojana z Parkoszowic, Femce, w Земdowice Parish of the Cristian village of Kristo Trzu Jacek’s wife from Tczitsa, Irojan’s daughter from Parkošovice and Femci, the widow of Bork from Trziczynti ”) [3] .
In 1975 - 1998, it was part of the Kielce Voivodeship, the administrative center of which was the city of Kielce (the village was located in the territories adjacent to the territories administratively subordinate to Krakow ). Since 1999 it has been part of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship (capital of Krakow ).
