Ivan Mikhailovich Vorontsov is the compiler of the article list about the embassy in Sweden in 1567-1569, held in an atmosphere of mutual distrust of both sides - both the Swedish official circles and Moscow ambassadors - on the eve of the overthrow of the Swedish king Eric XIV . The article list contains almost no descriptions of the country; it contains brief notes about business meetings, conversations and trials that fell to the embassy: Sweden and his companions survived the 1568 coup in Stockholm that deposed Eric; they were imprisoned for eight months and barely saved their lives. Together with his comrades, IM Vorontsov returned to Moscow only in 1569 [1] .
