History
The street received its modern name in memory of Pavel Andreev (1903-1917), a worker at the Michelson plant, a participant in the October Revolution , who died in battles on Ostozhenka ( buried near the Kremlin wall [1] ). Until May 17, 1963, it was called Arsenyevsky Lane (decision of the Moscow City Executive Committee dated 05.17.1963 No. 21/16) by the name of one of the 18th century homeowners [2] [3] . Before the revolution, one of the houses housed a private museum of I. A. Brokar, with a collection of paintings, ancient weapons, dishes and an extensive library [4]
Location
Pavel Andreev Street, being a continuation of the 1st Schipkovsky Lane , passes from Bolshaya Serpukhovskaya and Pavlovskaya Streets to the west, crosses Lyusinovskaya Street and passes to Mytnaya Street , which continues as Havskaya Street . Along Pavel Andreev Street there is a border between the Danilovsky District of the Southern Administrative District and the Zamoskvorechye District of the Central Administrative District. House numbering starts from Bolshaya Serpukhovskaya street.

Interesting Facts
At the eastern end of Pavel Andreev Street, Pavlovskaya Street begins, to which the 1st , 2nd and 3rd Pavlovsky Lanes adjoin from the east. However, the toponym Pavlovskaya / Ii is not associated with Pavel Andreev, but owes its origin to the Pavlovsk hospital (Hospital of Emperor Paul I , now the 4th city clinical hospital; Pavlovskaya street, 25) [5] .
