Life and work
Born in the family of an architect. Father J. de Feurat was Dutch, and his mother was Belgian. In the French manner, he began to call Georges de Feroum in 1890, almost immediately upon arrival from Holland to Paris. De Fer created illustrations for the literary and artistic magazine La Plume, which has been published since 1889. This popular magazine was founded by Leon Duchamp. In 1894, de Fer created an advertising poster for the fifth exhibition of the Salon One Hundred. In his artistic work, de Faure was a symbolist and one of the founders of Parisian modernism . Canvases de Feuhr had a pronounced decorative character. Since 1894, he worked together with a decorator, poster master Jules Scheret . De Fur also exhibited his watercolors at the Salon Rosa + Cross . Participated in the 1900 World's Fair in Paris.
J. de Faure created in painting his own special, romantic image of a woman, who brought him fame and fame at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. The painter also worked closely, as the author of art posters for performances, with the theater and opera world.
