Reed, John (Snooker)

John Read ( born John May 3, 1969 ) is an English former professional snooker player . Reed has never been even in the first fifty of the world ranking , but, nevertheless, has achieved good success in his professional career. His best result was the 1997 Grand Prix quarterfinal, when he knocked out players such as Ronnie O'Sullivan and Tony Drago [2] . He also once (in 2000 ) qualified for the World Cup , but in the match for reaching the 1/8 finals, he lost to the future winner of the tournament Mark Williams with a score of 4:10 [3] . In addition, John Reid made it several times to the last qualifying rounds for the UK Championship and reached the Asian Open quarterfinals in 1992 .
