Veronica is dull

The leaves are dull, dull green, almost round-ovate, almost heart-shaped at the base, with very short petioles , along the edge of the hillock or coarsely serrate, pubescent on both sides.

Flowers , one in the axils of ordinary leaves, on long pedicels , slightly larger than or equal to the leaves, with fruits curved downwardly bent. Calyx deeply four-parted; lobes of the calyx densely pubescent, with fruits diverging, not overlapping one another, ovate or oblong-ovate, almost scapular, obtuse, longer than capsule, densely gray-haired; the corolla is blue or blue, with a diameter of 3-4 mm, exceeds the calyx or is almost equal to it. Stamens attached in the throat of the corolla.

Capsule about 6 mm wide, 3-4 mm long, roundly obovate or kidney-shaped, convex and somewhat compressed laterally, two-lobed with a blunt and rather wide and shallow, acute-angled or obtuse-shaped notch, with round, strong, keeled lobes along the edge, from the surface with marked veins and densely pubescent. Seeds of 4-5 (sometimes 6-7) in the nest, ovate, 1-1.8 mm long, saucer-concave, wrinkled, ribbed.

Species Veronica dull is a member of the genus Veronica ( Veronica ) of the family Plantain ( Plantaginaceae ) of the order Lamiaceae ( Lamiales ).
