Biography
In 1948 he graduated from the vocational school number 13 of the city of Magnitogorsk, received a specialty rollerman. After graduating from college he worked in the rolling mill of the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine as a roller. After serving in the army he returned to the plant. He began working in the newly built sheet rolling shop No. 3 as a mill of the fifth cold rolling mill.
In 1957, Nikolai Yakovlevich became a senior roller, taught his profession to young people to work at MMK and other plants. In 1958 he taught work on the wall of young rollers from the Polish People's Republic. In 1966, Zimin was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor for his work, and in 1973 the Order of Lenin . For achieving high production performance in 1982, he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.
In recent years, Nikolai Yakovlevich worked as a master of industrial training in his own GOU NPO Professional Lyceum No. 13
