The square is the venue for festivals and concerts, such as the Days of the Old Town ( est. Tallinna Vanalinna Päevad ).

In the immediate vicinity of the square there are several bars and restaurants .

The Town Hall Square is the only point from which you can see the 5 main spiers of Old Tallinn, the so-called “zero kilometer”: the town hall , the Church of St. Nicholas , the Dome Cathedral , the Church of the Holy Spirit and the Church of St. Olaf .

According to legend, if you stand on this stone circle with inscriptions in Estonian and Latin and the designation of the four cardinal points, located in the center of the square, and see all the spiers, then you can safely make any wish - it will come true. The one who will be able to turn around on the “zero kilometer”, destiny itself is destined to return to Tallinn again.
