Description
Relatively large mayflies, reaching up to 35 mm in length, having two or three very long tail filaments. The venation pattern of the wings is clearly visible.
Ecology and habitats
Mayfly nymphs develop in various bodies of water , often with the presence of silt in them, since the nymph's legs are very strong and adapted to dig. Nymphs are carnivores that feed by hunting or eating detritus .
