Biography
Leonid Leontyev in 1939 graduated from the Faculty of Painting of the Leningrad Art Institute (studio B. B. Johansson). [1] Since 1939 he lived in Alma-Ata, headed the department of the Department of Arts of the Council of People's Commissars of the Kazakh SSR. In 1939-1959 he taught at the Alma-Ata Art College .
