History
The musical group Tyrant Eyes was formed in 1993. A year later, the five-song demo of the same name was released, and in 1995 another one, called War and Darkness , followed this time, containing four compositions, including two ballads. Gradually, the team is gaining momentum and gaining a certain share of fame on the local stage, which is facilitated by successful concert performances on the “warm-up” of world-famous groups. [1] So, on September 27, 1997, Tyrant Eyes opened the band's performance with Saxon . This performance was videotaped and subsequently formed the basis of the VHS release of Live Impressions . Autumn 1998, the team went to the Studio of House of Audio and recorded the debut album Book of Souls . At that time, the composition of the group was as follows: Alex Reymund - vocals, Marcus Amend - guitar, Michael Apfel - bass, Sasha Tilger - drums and Jürgen Bormut - keyboards. Record interested label BO Records , which released in late January 2000. The release had positive licenses, but the group failed to find a new label for the publication of future material.
Having decided to do everything on their own, Tyrant Eyes again went to the House of Audio and in the summer of 2001 recorded the album The Darkest Hour . The search for the issuing company lasted until the beginning of 2003, when, by agreement with Scarlet Records, the latter released a release at the end of January 2003.
