Alcay ( ancient Greek Ἀλκαῖος ) is a character in ancient Greek mythology. Son of Perseus and Andromeda [2] . His wife is called Astidamia, the daughter of Pelope ; either Laonoma, the daughter of Guney , or , the daughter of Menekei (all three versions are quoted by Pseudo-Apollodor) [3] . The father of Amphitrion , Anakso, and Perimed (wife of Licimnia ), grandfather of Hercules , named after him Alcides.
