Vyazok ( Belorussian. Vyazok ) is a former village in the Burkovsky village council of the Bragin district of the Gomel region of Belarus . After the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and radiation pollution, residents (137 families) were relocated to clean places in 1992. It was abolished on August 20, 2008 [1] .

Location
14 km west of Bragin , 21 km from the Khoyniki railway station (on the Vasilevichi - Khoyniki branch from the Kalinkovichi -Gomel line), 133 km from Gomel .
Transportation System
Transport connection on a country road, then the highway Khoiniki - Komarin.
It consists of a long arcuate street, close to the meridional orientation, to which the second street joins in the east, and in the south a short, straight, meridional street. Two-sided building, wooden, manor type.
History
Known since the beginning of the 19th century. In 1811 it was mentioned as a village in Rechitsa Uyezd , possession of Prozor. According to the inventory of 1844 as part of the estate Sosnyaki. According to the 1897 census, there was a chapel, a windmill . In 1908, in the Mikulit volost of the Rechitsa district .
In 1931, the Awakening collective farm was organized, a horse grinder (from 1923), a forge, and a windmill (from 1902) worked . From December 8, 1926 to December 30, 1927 the center of the Vyazoksky Village Council. She was a member of the Ostroglyady state farm (the center is the Ostroglyady village).
