History
The name received in connection with the location near the Kremlin . In 1910β1917, Zabelinsky Proezd [1] , in memory of historian Ivan Ye. Zabelin , the first head of the Historical Museum . The passage was formed in 1816-1820 after the conclusion of the Neglinnaya tube and the demolition of a small section of the Kitay-Novgorod wall .

The Kremlin Passage connects Manezhnaya Square with the Red Square and passes between the Kremlin wall and the building of the Historical Museum parallel to the passage of the Resurrection Gate .
