Geography
12 km west of Bragin , 23 km from the Khoyniki railway station (on the Vasilevichi - Khoyniki branch from the Kalinkovichi -Gomel line), 121 km from Gomel . 62 households, 116 residents (2004).
Transportation System
Transport links along a country road, then the Bragin-Khoyniki highway .
The layout consists of 2 rectilinear, parallel streets oriented from southeast to northwest, built up mainly with wooden manor-type houses.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a village in the Rechitsa district of the Minsk province . In 1850, the possession of Countess Rakitskaya. According to the census of 1897 in Mikulitsky volost.
From December 8, 1926 to December 30, 1927 the center of the Bakunsky Village Council. In 1931 a collective farm was organized. In 1959, as part of the Krasnaya Niva collective farm (center - the village of Burki ).
