Chrysolina bankii (lat.) - a species of leaf beetles from the subfamily chrysomeline . Distributed in Europe and the Middle East [2] , as well as in California and the south of the Gulf of Florida region [3] . The body length of adults is 8–10.7 mm [4] .

Fodder plants are representatives of the aster family ( Centaurea solstitialis , Spanish artichoke ) and buckwheat ( curly sorrel ), and, possibly, bindweed ( field bindweed ) [5] .
