In 1836 - 1875 soloist of the Vienna Court Chapel . At the same time in 1855 - 1868 . violist of the Helmesberger Quartet , participant in the premiere of the Piano Quartet No. 2 by Johannes Brahms on November 29, 1862 , with the participation of the author [1] . He also played in the orchestra of the Vienna Musical Society, where the quartet members occupied the positions of accompanists, determining its high level [2] .
