French Navy Aviation

Aircraft of the French Navy ( Fr. Aéronautique navale ) is one of the four main components of the French Navy . Consists of base aircraft and carrier-based aircraft . As of 2013, the French Navy includes one aircraft carrier R 91 “Charles de Gaulle” , on board of which [ 35 ] 35 aircraft and 5 helicopters are based . In addition, one or two deck helicopters for various purposes also have on board frigates of the French Navy .
