Sclerotinia ( lat. Sclerotinia ) is a genus of marsupials , included in the group of discomycetes . Order: Helotiales . Sclerotinia in its development passes through two stages: during the first (sclerotic) stage it forms resting structures - sclerotia (for example, S. libertiana forms spherical black sclerotia), during the second (marsupial) stage - mycelium or fruit bodies - apothecia in the form of a glass or saucers where cylindrical bags with ascospores develop . Propagation in most species by conidia ( conidia stage), and depending on the method of maturation, they are referred to one of two genera of imperfect fungi - monilia ( Monilia ) or botrytis ( Botrytis ).
