Tajikistan : the basins of the Varzob , Kafirnigan , Vakhsh rivers, east to the Khozretishi ridge and not to the north of Gissar . Endemic Pamir-Alai .
It grows on stony and melkozemistyh slopes and passes , pebbles dry channels, mainly in the lower zone of the mountains.
Plant 3-15 height (up to 20) cm, shortly pubescent. The roots are thin.
Stems erect, mostly branchy at the top.
The leaves are oblong-lanceolate, whole, on the petioles ; upper sessile, along the edge of the cut-serrated, opposite, occasionally alternate. Bracts linear-lanceolate, shorter than pedicels .
Flowers in loose racemose inflorescences , on filiform, almost drooping pedicels, with fruits bent down, exceeding the calyx and bracts ; lobes of the calyx linear-lanceolate or almost linear, long and finely pointed, rejected, about three veins, with sparse and short bristly hairs. The corolla exceeds the calyx, 8-10 mm long.
The box is glandular, oblate, shorter than the calyx, almost to the base divided into elongated, almost horizontally diverging lobes. Pear -shaped seeds , usually shallowly wrinkled, concave on one side, flat on the other, about 1.5 mm long, 1 mm wide.
