Biography

In childhood, Christian could not pronounce his name for a long time and he only got “Christie” or “Keely”. Since then, the family of Gonzalez began to call him Keely.

Gonzalez’s first club was Rosario Central from the football player’s hometown, where he started playing in 1993. He spent 88 matches for Rosario and scored 10 goals, after which he moved to Boca Juniors. After a season of successful performance in the “blue-gold” Kili was bought by the Spanish club “Zaragoza”.

In 1997, Zaragoza offered Gonzalez a 2-year contract. In total, over the years of playing at Zaragoza, Gonzalez managed to score 15 goals in 92 matches in the Spanish Championship.

The next club of the Spanish Examples, which moved Kili, was “Valencia”. In Valencia, Keely was delayed for 4 years. In 87 matches for Bats, he scored 8 goals. After the contract with this club ends, Kili González goes to the Italian Serie A club - Internationale. For 74 matches in black and blue, he did not score a single goal.

After a failure with Inter, Gonzalez returned to his native Rosario Central in 2006 and scored 10 goals in 76 matches. In 2009, he moved to the metropolitan San Lorenzo.

For the national team of Argentina, Keely played for 10 years (from 1995 to 2005). During this time, he played in 56 matches and scored 9 goals.
