The village of Krasnogorovka is located on the right bank of the Psel River , the village of Dzyubovschina is located upstream at a distance of 1 km, the village of Gerusovka is located downstream at a distance of 0.5 km, and the village of Belotserkovka is on the opposite bank. Nearby is the highway M-03 .
Name Origin
There is a local legend that in Krasnogorovka since the time of the Cossacks there was a mountain completely overgrown with poppy seeds, that is, a red mountain. Hence the name Krasnogorovka.
