Distribution
It is found in Northern and Central Europe , the Alps , in the north of Asia Minor , in the Crimea and in the north-west of Siberia .
Description
Wingspan 15β20 mm. The moth is found from July to August, depending on the habitat. Flies at night, and also attracts light [1]
Ecology and habitats
Caterpillars feed on lichens , in particular dog peltiger ( Peltigera canina ), but can also feed on mosses . Inhabits marches . [one]
