Tavrin (the full form of the name is unknown) is a Roman usurper emperor between 222 and 235 years. Very little is known about this ruler. He rebelled in the reign of Alexander Severus or Heliogabal, but soon committed suicide. In Epitoms about Taurine the following is written:
| Tavrin | |||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| lat Taurinus | |||||||
| |||||||
| Birth | |||||||
| Death | 222 year or 235 year | ||||||
“ Taurine, who declared himself August, rushed into the Euphrates River out of fear [1] .”
There are allegations that Tavrin was not a usurper, but Uranium Antonin , who just rebelled. Differences in names arose probably due to confusion.
