Biography
Born October 17, 1925 in Odessa in the family of an employee. Ukrainian . Graduated 10 classes [1] .
In the Red Army since 1943 , when he volunteered to the front from the 10th grade of secondary school No. 1 in the city of Balkhash (Kazakhstan). From the same time on the front.
In 1944 he graduated from the branch of the Kharkov Tank School in Tashkent and received direction to the Leningrad Front. As part of the 152nd Tank Brigade, he participated in the battles on the Karelian Isthmus, in the liberation of the Baltic states.
Exploits
The tank commander Komsomol junior lieutenant Shcherbakov repeatedly distinguished himself in battles for the liberation of Estonia in September 1944.
