Education
In 1968 he entered the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, but left the faculty due to ideological contradictions. In 1969-1970 served in the Soviet Army in the Strategic Missile Forces (Strategic Missile Forces).

- Candidate of Geographical Sciences (Moscow State University, Department of Geography, Department of Economic and Social Geography of Russia ) (1985). The theme of the dissertation is “Territorial organization and industry management in the conditions of the scientific and technological revolution (on the example of the Moscow region)”. Teaching
He taught in Moscow , Ufa , Khabarovsk , Sevastopol and other cities. Today he is a teacher at Moscow University at the Faculty of Geography, as well as in his department at the Sevastopol, and at the Faculty of Public Administration (course "Economic and Political Geography").
