Starozhilovka (river)

Starozhilovka is a river in the north of St. Petersburg . It originates on the southern slope of the Pargolovskiy heights , flows through Pargolovo , along the eastern and southeastern borders of the Shuvalovskiy park , and flows into the lake Lower Bolshoi Suzdal .

Content

History

On the river bank there was a village of the same name, which at the beginning of the 20th century became part of the village of Pargolovo.

Geographic Information

Length 7 km, pool area 33 km². The channel is very winding, 5–8 m wide. Depth is 0.1–1.2 m. The current velocity is 0.03–0.6 m / s.

The river belongs to water bodies of the 2nd category of water use. After the Shuvalovsky Park, it flows 400 meters along a pipe along Suzdal Avenue , crossing the Vyborg Highway .

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Baltic Basin District , the water sector of the river is Rivers and lakes of the Gulf of Finland from the Russian border with Finland to the northern border of the r. Neva, the river sub-basin of the river - Neva and the rivers of the Ladoga Lake basin (without the Svir and Volkhov sub-basin, the Russian part of the basins). Refers to the river basin of the Neva River (including the river basins of the Onega and Lake Ladoga) [2] . The code of the object in the state water registry is 01040300512102000008461 [2] .

  • The concentration of iron and manganese is growing.

According to laboratory studies, the content of BOD 5 in water is up to 8 mg / l, oil products - up to 2.5 mg / l.

Bridges are thrown across Starozhilovka in the alignment of st. Shishkin, Vologdin, Zarechnaya.
