Biography

Khadar studied at the Herzliya Gymnasium in Tel Aviv .

He joined the Hagan , where he served in the Jewish Youth Battalion ( Hebrew ื”ื’ื“ื "ืข shit ), in the Field Forces ( Hebrew ื—ื™"ืฉ Hish) and in the Police of Jewish Settlements ( Hebrew ืžืฉื˜ืจืช ื”ื™ื™ืฉื•ื‘ื™ื ื”ืขื‘ืจื™ื™ื miscetre ha-yishuvim ha-hebrew ).

In 1948, during the War of Independence of Israel , he commanded a platoon in the 51st battalion of the Givati brigade [1] . He went into the reserve and studied at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem . In 1952 he received a bachelor's degree in economics, in 1955 - a master's degree in law. Trained with the judge of the Supreme Court Shimon Agranat [2] .

In 1956 he returned to service in the Israel Defense Forces as a military prosecutor in the Gaza Strip during the Suez Crisis . Later he served as a military prosecutor and defender in the Southern Military District and in the armored forces. In 1963, he participated in the development of the principles of military administration with the possible Israeli occupation of neighboring territories [3] .

Since 1966, he studied at the University of London . At the end of his studies, in 1968, Khadar was appointed to the post of Chief Military Prosecutor, replacing Brigadier General Meir Shamgar .

After entering the reserve in 1973, he took up private law practice. Among other things, he was the defender of the Circassian intelligence officer Izat Nafso, who was convicted of high treason and espionage in the early 80s, and he was rehabilitated by the Supreme Court on May 24, 1987 [4] .

In 1979, Hadarโ€™s book, The Law on the Service in the Security Forces - the Law and its Interpretation, was published.

In 2007, Hadar was awarded the badge of honor from the Bar Association of Israel [5] .
