Tradition
The celebration of Easter is one of the most ancient traditions of the Christian world. The most important day of Easter celebrations is Easter Sunday , which is the first Sunday after the new moon from the onset of spring. It is believed that on this day Christ was resurrected from the dead by "death corrected by death."
After the celebration of Rosenmontag, there comes a passionate time in the life of the church, when no major holidays are celebrated, no major events occur [2] .
Famous cities in which Rosenmontag is most widely celebrated include Düsseldorf , Cologne and Mainz . In these and some other cities, for example, in the "Franconian capital" - Nuremberg , Rosenmontag is actually a holiday and a holiday, although it is officially considered formally a working day.

On this day, some of the central streets of the city are closed for traffic. On the route of the carnival procession, ambulances are installed, and in places where, according to past experience, the largest concentration of spectators is planned, fences made of striped tape are installed. Those who did not take part in the march also put on carnival costumes or add details to their wardrobe that testify to their participation in the celebration. Demonstrators throw candy into the crowd.
