Sackville ( English Sackville ) - a city in the county of Westmoreland of the province of New Brunswick ( Canada ). Located on the narrow isthmus that connects the Nova Scotia Peninsula with the mainland, near the administrative border with the province of Nova Scotia . The city got its name in honor of Lord George Sackville, who served as Secretary of State for Colonies in America in the office of Lord North during the US War of Independence .
