Style
The group Captain Jack (and in particular Frankie G.) was stylized as a military uniform. Frankie's costume consisted of a uniform of a stylized officer, with a red cap based on the uniform of the US Marines. All his other clothes were also designed according to the example of the American full dress uniform of officers. He was born in Cuba on February 19, 1962. Together with his parents, he moved to the United States and settled in Miami. He dreamed of becoming a pilot and studied at a college in Miami. However, after some time there was a major strike at this college, and many students left there, including Frankie. His parents were not wealthy, and so he had to look for money in order to somehow provide for his family. The easiest way was to decide to join the army, which he did. In 1988, his detachment was sent to Germany. After completing his service in the US Army, Frankie decided to stay in Europe, where he began his musical career. Frankie chose this style because of his service in the US Army. The concept of the success of the Captain Jack group is very original: Frankie G. and Lisa Da Costa have always performed in military uniform. The group has earned many awards throughout Europe.
On October 17, 2005, Frankie suffered a stroke while walking with her son in Spain. Doctors said the damage was fatal, and Frankie died on Saturday October 22, 2005, after being in a five-day coma. Future proceeds from sales of the Greatest Hits Captain Jack album, which was planned before Frankie's death, were passed on to his son Frankie Jr. In 2008, the Captain Jack group resumed its activities in a new composition.
