Photography and Graphics Technology - Density Measurement
One of the oldest international ISO standards has been completely updated in response to the latest technological innovations and market requirements. ISO 5: 2009, this is the latest edition of one of the many original ISO standards, which is over 30 years old and still relevant.
Many parts of ISO 5 are well known in the references in the standard technical specifications for photography , graphics , paints , paper , radiography , etc. It consists of four parts:
- Part 1: Geometry and Functional Designation
- Part 2: Geometric conditions for transmittance density
- Part 3: Spectral conditions
- Part 4: Geometric conditions for density analysis.
For the first time, all four parts of the standard were revised in order to achieve a new level of consistency in terminology and requirements.
