Story
Julie Johnson is a housewife from New Jersey , a wife and mother of two children. She lives a monotonous, boring life, but the desire to learn something pushes her to buy popular science magazines and watch educational programs. The pursuit of new knowledge leads her to study in a computer class in a local college. Upon learning of this, her husband believes that she is obsessed. Julie kicks him out of the house.
Claire, Julie's best friend, is inspired by her act and also leaves her husband. Since she has nowhere to go, she moves in with a friend. Julie persuades her to go with her to study. Claire, attracted more by the novelty of what is happening than by her own desires, agrees. New life becomes even more non-standard when Julie admits to Claire's feelings. Women have a romance.
However, it becomes clear that further paths of girlfriends diverge. Julie is more and more immersed in her studies, in which she achieves serious success. Claire realizes that she is not interested.
