Biography
Pupil of the club "Vitoria" from Salvador . He began his professional career in this team in 2000 , but he was not very impressed with his team leadership and in 2003 he was sold to (at that time) Serie B club “Sport Recife”. In the second half of the 2004 season he played for Ponte Preto and scored 6 goals in 14 matches.
Vitoria remembered about his pupil and in 2005 he spent his first really strong season, scoring 13 goals for the team in 20 matches of Series B of the Brazilian championship.
