Biography

Federico Insua began his professional career at Argentinos Juniors in 1997. In 2002, after five seasons with Argentinos, he joined Independente and immediately became the champion of Argentina (Apertura), having already won 14 titles in history with the club from Avellaneda. After the season spent in the “Red Devils”, he played for the Spanish “Malaga”, but this club played unsuccessfully and Insua returned to Argentina.

In 2005, he moved to Boku Juniors and the player has already received titles in the international arena - Rekopa and the South American Cup. But Insua didn’t stop at “Bok” for more than one season, having gone to the Gladbakh “Borussia”. Although Insua was the main player in this club, the not very successful performance of the European team forced Federico to leave Germany after one season.

In 2007-2009 Insua performed in Mexico, and on May 15, 2009, the sale was announced by America, which owned the rights to the player, to Boca Juniors.

In December 2014, he signed a contract with the Colombian club Millionarios [2] .

From 2003 to 2010, Federico Insua played for Argentina. He was among the candidates for a trip to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa .
