History
Officially, it dates back to 1914 . According to the order of the head of the construction of the Murmansk railway dated August 8, 1917, line No. 17 was renamed the Louhi station (line 44).
In 1973, the Kandalaksha -Louhi section was electrified with direct current , in 1988-1997 the Louhi- Kem - Idel section was electrified with alternating current , and until October 14, 2001 Louhi was the northernmost docking station in Russia, after which the Louhi-Murmansk section was converted to alternating current.
