Ari-Pekka Nurmenkari ( Fin. Ari-Pekka Nurmenkari ; born July 8, 1983 in Helsinki , Finland ) is a Finnish figure skater performing in single skating . Eight -time champion of Finland , two-time winner of the Nordic Championship. At the European and World Championships it occupies mostly low places. As of June 2011, it occupies the 87th place in the ranking of the International Skating Union (ISU) [1] .

Content
Career
For the first time took part in the Grand Prix series in the season 2009-2010. In September 2009, at the “ Nebelhorn Trophy ” tournament , he became the 14th and won one place for Finland in the men's single skating event at the Vancouver Olympics . Having won the national championship for the seventh time, he entered the national team at the Games , where he played poorly in the short program and took the 30th (last) place.
Personal life
Ari-Pekka is married to former tennis player Annine Ahti . In August 2009, their son was born [2] .
