Igor Aleksandrovich Berezhnoy ( April 21, 1934 , Balashov - February 4, 1981 , Moscow ) - designer of aerospace technology, chief designer of design bureaus of automatic systems, professor, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences.

Biography
Born on April 21, 1934 in the city of Balashov, Lower Volga Region [1] .
He entered the Kuibyshev Aviation Institute in 1951 . He worked at the Department of Physics, then at the Department of Strength of Aircraft.
Killed February 4, 1981 - blown up in a company car during a business trip in Moscow. He is considered the victim of the first contract murder in the USSR . The KGB and personally Yu.V. Andropov investigated the murder. The results of the investigation are unknown [2] .
