Maëlle Danica Ricker (born December 2, 1978 , North Vancouver, British Columbia ) is a Canadian snowboarder , champion of the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver (in snowboard cross - country competitions ), performing in the disciplines of snowboarding and halfpipe .

Mael Ricker also took third place in snowboarding at the 2005 World Championships in Whistler. She made her debut in the FIS World Cup on December 14, 1996 , won 14 victories at the World Cup stages - 12 in snowboard cross and 2 in halfpipe , and won the 2007–2008 world cup in halfpipe.
