Story
After the assault of the terrible monsters, at Goody’s school, Percy returns to the Half-Blood Camp, where the young heroes and their mentor, the centaur Chiron, prepare for the alleged invasion of the Kronos troops. For Percy this is already the fourth, the summer in the camp promises to be the most enjoyable, because the camp administrator Mr. D. ( Dionysus ), with whom Percy has a difficult relationship, is absent with an important mission, and the mysterious Quintus falls in his place - the swordsman who tamed the hellish a hound named Mrs. O'Leary. Percy was mistaken, suggesting that this summer he would be able to relax and work out in the camp. Problems are brewing. Percy’s friend Satyr Grover, who searches in vain for the missing god of nature, Pan , may be expelled by the Council of Satyrs if he does not provide evidence that Pan really spoke to him. And the Delphic oracle gives a new prediction, in which Annabeth takes the main role. This time the danger is closer than ever.
The legendary Daedalus Labyrinth may become a loophole in the protection of the Half-Blood Camp, and Luka intends to use this loophole to lead the Kronos army through the Labyrinth directly to the camp. The labyrinth associated with the immortal soul of its master lives its own life - the moves in it change, the corridors disappear and reappear, even time in the Labyrinth flows differently, and the distances do not matter. Only not everyone can get through the Labyrinth. According to legend, only the thread of Princess Ariadne, daughter of the Greek king Minos , can point the right way. Percy and Annabeth find in the camp the entrance to the Labyrinth, signified by the Greek symbol "delta" (Δ) and, together with brother Percy, Cyclops Tyson and satyr Grover, go down inside. Their goal: to find Daedalus workshop and enlist the support of the master, if he is actually still alive. At the same time, somewhere in the Labyrinth, Luca leads his army to the camp, and the young son of Aida Nico di Angelo, tempted by the ghost of the evil king Minos , tries to find Daedalus and exchange his soul for the soul of Bianca di Angelo's sister.
In the Labyrinth of Heroes, many dangers await - the monsters of Kronos, insidious traps, forges of the god Hephaestus , gladiatorial battles. As a result, the characters are forced to split up: Tyson and Grover set off on their own Search in the wake of Pan , while Percy and Annabeth go further. On their journey through the Labyrinth, they are adjoined by Nico di Angelo, freed from the influence of Minos , and Rachel Elizabeth Der, a mortal girl who can see through the Fog. Percy met her in the Curse of the Titan , and it so happened that it was Rachel who could lead the heroes through the Labyrinth. In the end, the guys manage to find the workshop of Daedalus, where they are waiting for an amazing discovery - the swordsman Quintus is Daedalus, who transferred his spirit to automaton - a mechanical body. In the workshop, a battle ensues between the heroes and monsters of Kronos, who were joined by the spirit of King Minos , eager to take revenge on Daedalus, who was responsible for his murder. Only thanks to the bronze wings of the master do the children manage to escape. Meanwhile, Luka manages to get the thread of Ariadne, and the army of Kronos begins its movement to the camp. Percy, Annabeth, Rachel and Nico team up with Tyson and Grover, who finally find the place to hide the god Pan. As it turns out, Pan had long died, but his memory, which lived in a cave in New Mexico , continued to live, waiting for Grover. Pan hands over his legacy to the young satyr and his friends and finally dies, asking Grover to convey this sad message to the world.
The labyrinth leads Percy to the top of Mount Tamalpais, where the titans erected the fortress of Otris. In the fortress is a sarcophagus with the remains of Kronos. The strength of the titanium is growing, and Percy believes that the best time to strike may not be imagined. He penetrates the shrine of Otris invisibly and sees how the Telkhins - dog-headed creatures and the best blacksmiths - bring the Scythe of Kronos into the hall, the most powerful weapon after the rod of Zeus and the trident of Poseidon . Percy looks into the sarcophagus and sees that it is resting in it ... Luke! The young man gave his body to Kronos, and the last element capable of restoring life to the titan was the renunciation of half-breed youth Efan Nakamura from the gods of Olympus. Kronos returns to life and the first one he sees in front of him - his archenemy Percy Jackson! Between the hero and the titan, a battle ensues in which Percy loses, because Kronos is the lord of time. Percy manages to get out and hide in the Labyrinth only thanks to the courageous act of Rachel, who threw her comb in the eyes of Kronos. So the young hero understands that titanium has not fully materialized in this world and that somewhere inside his new body Luke’s consciousness still dwells.
The heroes return to the camp and collectively prepare for an attack by the Kronos army. And the attack takes place ... Under the leadership of the monstrous Kampa, monsters, including hell hounds, giants and strigrigons , dragons and rebel half-breeds attack the camp, but meet worthy resistance from the heroes. During the battle, part of the camp was destroyed, some heroes died, and the remainder of Kronos’s army fled back to the Labyrinth after Grover took advantage of Pan’s gift and drove the monsters out with a formidable roar. After the battle, Daedalus voluntarily decides to die in order to break the bond between himself and the Labyrinth. As soon as the master disappeared, his entire Labyrinth collapsed.
Nico di Angelo decides to leave the camp, as he realizes that he is superfluous in it - the children of Hades will not be popular anywhere. He intends to find out more about them with his sister's past. In the end, he shakes hands with Percy, which means they are at odds with the world. The returning Dionysus announces that the younger gods, including Morpheus , Hecate and Janus , have joined Kronos, which makes the position of the Olympians precarious. The council of satyrs intends to expel Grover from his ranks, since he did not provide evidence of the existence of Pan on time, but unexpectedly supports Dionysus to Grover. He dissolves the Council, believing that Pan is dead. Hekatonheir Briarius , who supported the heroes during the battle in the camp, goes to the forges of Poseidon , and Annabeth quarrels with the goddess Hero, who vows to revenge the daughter of Athena for insulting. The final battle is coming with the Lord of the Titans Kronos .
