Christoph Langen ( German: Christoph Langen , March 27, 1962 , Cologne ) is a German bobsledder who played for the German national team from 1985 to 2005 (since 1991 as a pilot). He participated in four Winter Olympics and won a total of four medals, of which two gold (two in 2002 and four 1998) and two bronze (two in 1992 and 1998).

In addition, Langen won twelve medals at the World Championships, including eight gold and four silver. Repeatedly won the World Cup: twice in the mixed team (1995-6, 1998-9), three times in the two (1995-6, 1998-9, 2003-4) and once in the men's four (1998-9). Seven times became the champion of Europe.
He ended his career due to a severe injury to the Achilles tendon , requiring surgical intervention. He was going to take part in the 2006 Winter Olympics , but the injury was too serious, and by the right time the athlete did not have time to get the required form. Currently, Langen is working as a commentator on German television, commenting on bobsled competitions.
