Biography
From 6 to 13 years old Anna Sidorova was engaged in figure skating , but after a leg injury she was forced to stop classes. In 2006 she came to curling. A month and a half later, she became a candidate for master of sports, and began performing at international youth competitions.
Anna studied at schools No. 73 and No. 1304 [1] , in 2013 Anna Sidorova graduated from the Department of the History of Political Science and Law at the Russian State University for the Humanities [2] .
In 2008, Anna Sidorova made her debut in official international competitions, joining the Russian national team at the European Championship among mixed teams (mixed). In 2009, she became the skip of the youth team of Russia, which she played for until 2012. In December of the same year she made her debut in the main national team at the European Championship 2009 . In 2010, she participated in the national team at the Olympic Games , World and European Championships . Mostly played in the position of vice-skip, and in individual games and skip . Since December 2011 is the main skip of the Russian team.
In 2011, at the European Championships in Moscow, the team leads to bronze medals, and in 2012 in Sweden to gold medals. In 2013, she won a gold medal at the Winter Universiade in Italy.
