Clickits is an Indian tribe living on the northwest coast of the United States . She speaks a language belonging to the Sakhaptinsky group . In the east, they are adjoined by the Yakima tribe, speaking a related language, and from the west, various Salish and Chinook tribes.

Clickites have become famous as active and enterprising traders. They often acted as intermediaries between coastal tribes and those living west of the Cascade Mountains .
The ethnonym "clique" is supposed to come from the Chinook word meaning "outside", "outside" ( Rocky Mountains . The tribe鈥檚 self-name is Qw没'lh-hwai-p没m , which means "prairie people".
The name of the tribe also gives the names of several places in the United States: Klikitat County in Washington State , Klikitat in the same state, Klikitat River, a tributary of the Columbia River .
