Belgium at the 1952 Summer Olympics

Belgium took part in the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki ( Finland ) for the tenth time in its history, and won two gold and two silver medals. The national team consisted of 135 athletes (130 men, 5 women), who competed in 16 sports.

Competitions in rowing at the 1952 Games took place from July 20 to 23. In the next round from each race were several of the best crews (depending on discipline). For the first time since 1928, another qualifying race was introduced for losers in the semi-finals of athletes. The finals A reached the 5 strongest crews.
